SMP EXPO 2026 Competition Rules

Welcome to the official SMP EXPO 2026 Competition! This prestigious event brings together top scalp micropigmentation (SMP) artists from around the world to celebrate skill, precision, and artistry. Please review the competition rules carefully to ensure a smooth and fair judging process.

Competition Overview

Judging Panel: Over 15 internationally recognized SMP artists from various regions will judge the competition to ensure fair and impartial scoring.

Competition Categories:

Junior: 0–3 years of SMP experience

Expert: 3+ years of SMP experience

Submission Type: Only Male Pattern Baldness cases will be accepted for judging.

Competition Guidelines

Submission Deadline:

All entries must be submitted by May 4th, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Work Environment:

Participants must perform the SMP procedure on a live model/client at their own clinic, studio, or workspace.

Submission Requirements:

Submit a combination of photos and videos for each session. Photos and videos must show the work from multiple angles of all sessions.

All submissions must be original:

No editing, enhancement Photoshop, or any alteration is allowed.

Confidentiality.

Competitors may not share their work directly with any judges. Submission images or videos cannot be posted on social media or personal websites until after the competition

Judging Transparency:

After the competition, participants will receive a copy of their score and detailed feedback from the judges for full transparency.
